HEIC and HEIF files can be selected as they are. The converter is prepared automatically, your photos are never sent, and the output is saved as JPEG.
Only the main still image is converted. Live Photo videos, burst frames and depth data are not kept. HDR and wide-gamut colour or brightness may shift. HEIC files are limited to 20 MB and about 12.6 megapixels each (24 MP and 48 MP photos are not supported).

Frequently asked questions
Is my original photo changed?
No. The processed image is saved as a new file.
Are my photos stored on a server?
No. Everything from reading the image to writing it out happens in your browser.
Does it support HEIC?
Yes. HEIC and HEIF can be selected like any other image; they are converted to JPEG automatically and the metadata is removed. AVIF is not supported.
